Untrustworthy and very poor customer service. After 5 yrs with Allstate with no claims, my home insurance was unexpectedly terminated. I am happy with my new insurance company as their responsiveness and integrity shows through unlike Allstate. I sent a written letter directly to the Agency Manager: Mr. Knight in mid-August explaining this. I have heard nothing back except crickets……….

Update: I followed the generic response to email the agency. The automated response on that email gave a local phone number. It forwards to the 1-800 line. Shouldn't have to drive to the office to speak to an agent from it. …...... Every time I try calling the office, it's redirected to a 1-800 line, which doesn't have a callback feature. After waiting to speak to someone at the call centre, they confirmed that all Allstate offices now forward their office line to the call centre. Requested a call back from an agent... after several days, did not receive a call. I had referred others because of my ability to speak with the same agent every time. Really appreciated the personal touch. Disappointing to see that disappear, confirmed by the response to my review, asking customers to send an email so they can call back at their convenience.
