Fix your phone lines. I have tried calling all options: Allstate customer care, Allstate toll free and the Agency. Wait times are horrible. I had also tried calling directly to my agent. No reponse either.

It would be nice if Allstate would A) answer the phone. B) respond to emails in a timely manner C) have a live agent chat available on their website to compensate for their lack of points A & B. D) make their various departments communicate with one another as well as check the client portals for updates so that when a policy change request is made, they update their systems and correspondence accordingly.
Allstate has sent funds to the incorrect address (a house that they insured and we sold (notifying them of the sale and updating our policy)because they didn’t update all their systems. (More than a year after we had updated our mailing address with them)
Allstate arbitrarily dropped my windshield replacement coverage, without giving any notice, because it was costing them too much. Because, as we all know, in Canada, the roads are covered in rocks and windshields get busted regularly, so having windshield replacement coverage is important.
This is a cautionary tale to whomever decides to work with Allstate as their insurer. Be prepared for terrible customer service. Keep track of all your correspondence, including times, dates, agent ID’s, etc.

Terrible customer service! Calls go unanswered, and waiting over an hour is completely normal. Even after leaving messages, there's no response. Imagine what it would be like if you actually needed to file a claim—just thinking about it is frustrating and disappointing.
