The reason I gave only 2 star is because of the following; The in store agents are lovely, have always been great to me. I apologize to the agents in house as this problem typically associates with the higher ups in allstate and the adjusters they assign to open claims. I did have to make my first claim back in May for an accident that I wasn't at fault for and was also a hit and run on the other drivers behalf. The adjusters that were assigned to my claim were absolutely terrible. Every email I sent to the adjusters I got a auto reply saying they were on vacation. I then got ahold of them and they said the police file wasn't closed yet and didn't get the info they need to process the claim through the other drivers insurance. We are now September 7th and my claim is still open. I was told to email the cop on the file and I did. He just emailed me back today saying he already provided the information the adjusters needed to process the claim through the other party's insurance. So in short, I've been lied to by the adjustors, the adjustors lied to allstate saying they were waiting on more information, when they already had the information. I feel like I'm not going to be treated fairly with this claim. I'm requesting that a settlement happens with my claim and I expect the other insurance company offer a acceptable settlement considering their driver did a hit and run. My deductible has incurred interest charges and I've also had many other expenses happen because of this accident which also have incurred interest charges.. As for right now I don't recommend allstate. They were great when everything was going smooth. The second a claim is open, it turned into a confusing mess. Hopefully this situation is rectified professionally and they will make sure I'm compensated. Claim opened in May. It's now September 14th.
