Called to get a quote for auto insurance and waited about 30 minutes before being able to speak with an agent. The agent looked up my file and then told me he'd transfer me to a colleague. "It will be real quick". I've been on line for a total of 50 minutes at this point. Are people just expected to take the day off work in order to reach someone and receive a quote? Who has time for this? You'd think they would have a call back option. Hung up at the 1 hour mark. So frustrating.

1 star.. nice employees? Initial guy was OKAY but I think the people in the office just sort of get you your insurance then idk. if they are around put you through to someone else or say "Allstate app". People on the phone have been very nice. Despite having to phone so many time and waiting for insane periods. 2. Decent price? I switched so I can actually talk to people but that's harder than it seems haha. Negatives: Popular so much I guess it takes over 2 months for a claim to go through. Even longer? I had no accidents, first one comes along because of a driver turning left, not my fault. Phoning took ages, I get that but they passed me on to like 3 people and the last person I need to get ahold of.... Has yet to contact me. I phoned multiple times to "escalate" as they called it, the situation. Finally on last person but... Still busy! Insurance companies s*ck honestly. They use up your money each month and for what? Haha At least most the employees are nice even if not that helpful.
