If i could give this place a 0 star I would. I first signed up for All state Insurance with an agent named Kapil back in March. I was given a quote, we went over everything in detail, he asked me questions and specified what my insurance would cover compared to TD. All in all, it seemed like a good deal and was far cheaper than I was paying with TD. After running my abstract we landed at $234 for full coverage. At this point I was more than happy to take the deal because All state was offering me the same coverage as TD for a much better price. In May, I received a letter 'thanking me for the changes made to account' and that my premium jumped all the way up to $289!!! I messaged Kapil immediately after asking him what happened. Apparently he signed me up for a Drivers program where i was supposed to have downloaded an app that tracks my driving which would then offer me a discounted rate. He seemed to cover everything about the insurance cost except this major detail! If this was a no strings attached thing that gave me a discount, i would have downloaded the app and save that money monthly, rather than forgo that discount all together. No brainer. He told me he would take care of it and so I trusted him to do so. Weeks go by without an answer so I message him again and he's telling me that he's going to contact his back office so that he can authorize that the difference in cost ($234-$289) be sent back to me via prepaid Mastercard. I thought this seemed a little sketchy and doubted that this was even a thing but I thought because he failed to tell me about this program and how it effects my insurance rate that he would indeed take care of it. It was his mistake to take care of. Now it's been months of him essentially leaving me on read and not checking in with me for his mistake. I am fed up with the BS. He kept telling me that back office has sent some cheque in the mail and at that point i was done. It is now October and have yet to receive anything in the mail. He has lied and refuses to own up to his mistake and now I'm paying for it. Terrible service and I hope the managers can reach out to me. He is a terrible representative of All State Insurance.

I filed for a claim a week ago because I got rear ended. Person who registered my claim mentioned I will get a call from the adjuster within 3 days. I didn’t get any calls so today I decided to contact them to see what’s going on. Someone finally picked my call up after 45 minutes, gave me the WRONG phone number of the adjuster and hung up. I called the number, big surprise it’s not a real number. I called them again, after 1 hour of waiting my call got disconnected. I decided to contact the person who helped me set up my insurance because she was very helpful when I was signing up. She doesn’t pick up her office phone at all. I left them an email and called the claims customer service again. I kid you not, took me 1 hour and 48 minutes to reach the customer service rep (reference: 1756042). He said they don’t really have access to the adjuster’s number, so the previous lady just gave me a fake number to get me off her back I guess. He mentioned the adjuster will call me back in 5 business days. I drive a pretty pricey car and it has been busted up without me having any estimate of repairs yet.
I think a lot of victims from the other reviews of the predatory practices of Allstate try to avoid getting caught up on legal procedures that’s why they let it go but lucky for me I work in a global law solutions company and have access to lawyers from both Canada and US. If I don’t get my car FIXED within the next two weeks, I will be taking as much legal action I can against them which is definitely going to cost them way more than what they could’ve initially gotten away with just by maintaining professionalism. DO NOT USE ALLSTATE. You might think you’re probably never going to have to deal with claims with them but by any chance if you do, well good luck to you.

I have been calling for the last 3 days and waiting for hours to reach out to a person at Allstates, but I have still not answered. Poor customer services.
