Julie Forbes

Hi, my name is Julie Forbes and I am a Business Development Agent for Allstate Canada. I believe in, and am passionate about, building relationships. My goal is to help people just like you find the right home and auto insurance product. I have been in sales roles for the past 10 years and I am most engaged and happy when I am working with people. I grew up in the small fishing village of Shelburne on the south shore of NS. I attended the University of King's College, acquiring a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduating, my sense of adventure led me to backpack and travel the world for five years. After a few years of working life, I became an at-home mother to my two children while living in England & Australia. My love of home, and deep sense of community, brought me back home to my roots here in NS. I have always had a passion and appreciation for community life and the people that live there. My dedication to the growth and development of communities continues with my volunteer work with FEED NS, Clean NS, school events, numerous community fundraisers, and much more. I am a lover of the outdoors, camping, walking on the beach and being in nature are where I am happiest. I love to cook, paint, read, play cribbage, marbles, skip-bo and hang out with my children. I live in Purcell's Cove with my husband, daughter, son, Farley Mowat the dog, Millie the cat, Judy the gecko and assorted fish.
