Customer service is terrible lately. No one picks up the phone. They just keep saying "We value your call and will be with you shortly". And then the next message is, "we may not be able to reach you today, please call back another day". I intend to cancel all of my policies, and move them to another company, this is ridiculous. 0 stars would be most appropriate...

We've been with Allstate for 23 years and currently have 7 policies with them. The rates just keep climbing (as our 4 vehicles depreciate). Reached out to discuss rate and they can't do anything about it. We then tried to reach them again after getting much cheaper rates elsewhere (phone and email) to cancel and ended up having to leave a voicemail that went unreturned and the email unanswered. Now 2 of those policies have renewed.
It is now going to cost us a fortune to leave and go to another company where we could save thousands of dollars per year.
I'm utterly disappointed after being loyal customers for so long.
Response: Hello Trish. A rise in insurance rates can be a difficult thing to see. One of the best ways to make sure your insurance fits your needs is to talk with a local Allstate agent.
