We were customers of Newmarket Allstate for several years and had multiple negative experiences that made it clear that the company's bottom line will be prioritized over customer needs and well being. In 2020, following a no fault accident we were without our vehicle for over 3 months and had to cover over $1200 in expenses. After multiple attempts to communicate with Allstate we were told the matter was out of our hands and could take many more months to resolve as they decided (without our knowing) to take the towing company to court because they couldn't agree on the cost to release our vehicle. We had to engage in a lengthy process to escalate our concerns to the ombudsmen before our vehicle was returned. More recently we learned that a no fault accident policy was not honoured by the company. We made several attempts to contact the company again but would end up being on hold for at least an hour at a time and needing to repeat our story over and over. The most recent call was simply dropped. Bottom line - we pay for insurance for peace of mind, but unfortunately that is not what we received.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone. Send wrong information and just awful customer service. Look elsewhere before signing with them.
