I was involved in a hit and run accident on July 10th, 2024.
I had whiplash and so did my sister as we were hit really hard at the front of my car.
I called Allstate to let them know about the accident on July 11th, 2024.
I spoke to an agent which I am not going to name because his service wasn’t horrible but definitely could use some listening and retaining information skills.
I say this because I explained the accident multiple times as he kept getting information wrong about the accident.
I explained at the beginning of the phone call that it was a hit and run meaning the driver that hit me drove off. At the end of the call I stated it AGAIN and the agent said “ohh it was a hit and run? So the driver drove off?” In a surprised tone as if I didn’t explain that at the beginning of the call.
I was not asked for the license plate of the guy that hit me. I have the license plate because some one else was hit by the same driver before me. He took the picture of the license plate and sent it to me.
I wasn’t given information about getting a rental in the first call.
I had to call back again to get that set up which was frustrating being I left without a car.
I was told that Kelly Robinson would be the adjuster on my case.
I called her and left a voicemail. She called me once on July 15th at 9am and left me a voicemail to call back. I called her back the same day same hour, than again on her other number.
I waited than called her back the next day.
I then called her again July 18th and left a voicemail stating that I needed to speak to her and if she doesn’t get back to me I will need to request a new adjuster.
She didn’t call me back. This was frustrating as this was a complete disregard to a paying customer.
Thankfully, Kyle Nedd called me and started moving the process along with my damaged car.
Kyle answered emails and calls that were sent to him in a timely manner and was very helpful.
I called Allstate Monday July 22nd and asked for a manager to contact me as I needed to speak to someone. I was told that a request was put in and that I would get a call back within 2 business days.
I did not receive a call AT ALL from a MANAGER.
I am writing this review just to state that we as customers are paying our insurance company thousands of dollars a year just to be completely disregarded.
The service that I have had this month has not been reflective of the amount of money we have payed Allstate every year!
I thank Kyle Nedd as he was the only redeeming factor in this whole experience.

Called multiple times to speak with an agent only to be left on hold for hours. I wanted to make changes to my policy, but it looks like I'll have to make changes to my provider.
