Deborah Marais

Hello! My name is Deborah Marais.  I've resided and worked in Ontario my whole life, but Barrie has been my home since 1995. Since then, I have created two businesses and spent many years in the auto industry working in sales, service and customer care. I then moved on to develop my skills as a sales manager in digital advertising. My hobbies include horseback riding, boating and cooking. I am proud to support and strengthen the community in which my family and I call home and I am committed to treat you as a friend, not just a client. I have always gone above and beyond to support my family and their hobbies. My daughter is an avid musician who, after many piano and voice lessons, has become an accomplished musician. She is a member of Queen's University's Choir and had the honour of singing the Canadian, French and English national anthems at the 100-year anniversary of the end of WWI at Vimy Ridge in France. My son played hockey on the Barrie rep team for 10 years and I organized a non-profit Spring hockey team for him and his teammates that competed in tournaments for 4 years. I also spend time every day at a local nursing home in Barrie to help with a family member and other residents at dinner time. I am extremely passionate about helping both my family and community and strive to ensure that my clients experience this same level of support and care.
