My car insurance went up $645 for my new policy, on one vehicle, and my wifes went up $50. So i called to see why. I was told because there were floods in some town, and that we all need to pay......... so I asked ok, then why did my wife's only move $50 by this explanation, and buddy said, ya... its how it is sometimes. Been with Allstate 24 years, clean record, no claims in over 14 years. Very disappointed in the outcome... once my policy expires, I'm out. I did see your reply. Every other company I spoke to with the same coverage that I had with your company, was cheaper. I am not implying that its only me that dealt with this change, but i can tell you its not something i will continue with. Your justification for an increase on one policy, and not my other doesn't make sense. How is one going to increase significantly more than the other?? Either way, I don't need a response nor care for one. Thanks

We’d like to let you know that there are several factors responsible for increased rates, such as: • A greater number of claims as people are driving more and more since the pandemic. • Vehicles are equipped with more technology, making repairs more complex. • Inflation on parts and materials causes an increase in repair and replacement costs.
